⩕⩖⩕⩖⩕ Dream Weaver Pt.4 ⩕⩖⩕⩖⩕

Fiber artist Diane Itter. She emerged in the 1960s creating bright colored fine threaded pieces. Each work took her about one to one-half weeks of 8 to 10 hour workdays.

  4. I was fortunate (blessed) to have been a friend of Diane back in the mid-sixties in Pittsburgh. She taught me macramé, before this amazing work, though. She was working on a guitar strap then, like many of us did. But no one has done anything like her linen work, I think.
