✲ Drop City ✲
Drop City was a community that took place in Colorado from 1965-1973. It was founded by a group of artists who wanted to rebel and explore communal and sustainable living. The domes were made of 2x4's, bottle caps, and car tops. The invasion of drugs, bikers, and violence led to the world's first geodesic ghost town.
△△△ Wholeo Dome △△△
The Wholeo, Whole Self Dome was built from 1966-1974 by Caroling Wholeo Geary. She connected with the universal mind and envisioned primitive maps from within a deep respect for all life is art. Today the stained glass dome lives at The Farm Commune in Summertown Tennessee.
