Tonight my hubby Stephen McCarty is playing with Mira of White Magic as "The Mother Yod," a special tribute to Ya Ho Wha 13 for the Los Angeles premiere of The Source Family documentary by Jodi Wille at The Standard Hotel.

⦿◑ Sanctuary ◐⦿

Lately I've been listening to Dorothy Ashby records and Miles Davis' Bitches Brew which leads me to the amazing psychedelic art of Mati Klarwein. He developed his technique with the guidance of Fernand Léger and Ernst Fuchs. As his work evolved so did his friendships with legends such as Salvador Dali, Jimi Hendrix, and Timothy Leary. Mati left us an open window through which we can still gaze in wonder.
